        ?松江古稱華亭,別稱有云間、茸城、谷水等,是江南著名的魚米之鄉(xiāng)。唐天寶十年(751年),置華亭縣。元至元十四年(1277年)升為華亭府,翌年改為松江府。至清嘉慶十年(1805年)演變?yōu)?府(松江)、7縣(華亭、上海、青浦、婁、奉賢、金山、南匯)、1廳(川沙)。民國元年(1912年)廢府,華亭、婁縣合并為華亭縣,歸江蘇省管轄。民國三年(1914年)改稱松江縣。解放后,蘇南行政署設(shè)松江專區(qū)。1958年3月,松江專區(qū)撤消,改隸蘇州專區(qū)。1958年11月由江蘇省劃歸上海市。1998年2月,國務(wù)院批準(zhǔn)撤縣設(shè)區(qū)。 Songjiang, once called Huating in ancient times, also known as Yunjian, Rongcheng, and Gushui, is a famous town south of the Yangtze River. In 751 of the Tang Dynasty, Songjiang was named Huating County. In 1277, during the Yuan Dynasty, it was named Huating Prefecture, which was changed to Songjiang Prefecture the next year. Then, in 1805, in the Qing Dynasty, it was developed into Songjiang Prefecture with Huating, Shanghai, Qingpu, Lou, Fengxian, Jinshan, Nanhui, and Chuansha Counties subject to it. In 1912, when the prefecture was abolished, Huating and Lou were merged into Huating County of Jiangsu Province. In 1914, Huating County was changed to Songjiang County. After liberation, the area became Songjiang Special District. In March 1958, it was merged into Suzhou Special District, and in November, Songjiang became a county of Shanghai. Then, in February 1998, the State Council approved Songjiang as a district.
